New Members Elected to the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee

Northeast Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of three distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. Julie Cutting-Kelley, Matt Sawyer, and Mark Emerson, and each bring a wealth of experience and expertise that will enhance Northeast Credit Union’s governance and commitment to the communities served.

Julie Cutting-Kelley, Executive Chef and owner of Cure Restaurant in Portsmouth, has been elected to Northeast’s Board of Directors. As a lifelong resident and local business owner, she has strong community bonds. As a current member of Northeast’s Mission Advancement Council, Ms. Cutting-Kelley's alignment with the credit union’s mission and values is evident. She is eager to learn from her fellow Board Members and the Executive team, while providing a fresh perspective on local and statewide needs. Her unique role as a restaurateur and active citizen of the Seacoast region will undoubtedly bring valuable insights to Northeast Credit Union.

Matt Sawyer, a dynamic and well-disciplined Certified Public Accountant (CPA), has joined Northeast’s Supervisory Committee. As a seasoned CPA with a strong background in internal controls, audit, and compliance, Mr. Sawyer brings financial acumen and dedication to best practices to the committee. He is motivated by a desire to give back to the community and expand his knowledge base. Mr. Sawyer aims to provide the internal audit function with a solid sounding board and implement processes that enhance Northeast’s ability to safeguard its members' assets.

Mark Emerson, a professional with a strong history in computer science and technology, has also joined Northeast’s Supervisory Committee. With a career marked by accomplishments in software product development and recent experience in software security and compliance management, Mr. Emerson's diverse background complements the credit union’s dedication to innovation and quality. When asked about his decision to join the Committee, Mr. Emerson expressed his readiness to contribute to the community and Northeast Credit Union. His expertise will be invaluable in guiding and protecting the credit union in regulatory and compliance matters.
