Sydney Makes a Positive Impact in Her Community

Sydney’s teacher nominated her for the Nice Catch award. She shared, “Sydney has been an active member of Youth in Action, our school's community service group, for three years.  This past year, she participated in five service projects, ranging from stuffing envelopes for Dollars for Scholars, to helping to prepare and serve a community dinner. She has volunteered at the Lebanon Recreation Department's Shamrock Shuffle, Halloween Funfest, and the 'Tis the Season holiday events. She is an energetic, self-directed, and positive volunteer who is ready to assist in whatever way is needed. Sydney has been generous with her time and fully understands how her actions benefit the community at large.”

Sydney's selflessness and positive impact on her community is why she was selected as a 2023 Nice Catch Kind Kid.
