Portsmouth, NH – Northeast Credit Union believes that at the heart of every community there are good people doing great things. That’s why we have partnered with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Portland Sea Dogs for our Third Annual “Nice Catch - Celebrating Kind Kids” initiative to recognize and celebrate kids from New Hampshire and Maine. Nice Catch celebrates kids who consistently demonstrate compassion, empathy and kindness toward their peers, teachers, coaches, families and other community members; and who go above and beyond to make our communities a kinder and brighter place.

The Nice Catch initiative is in its 3rd full swing of celebrating kind kids who impact their peers and community in positive ways, with 4 winners selected each month from June - August. Nominations are being accepted through August 14th, 2020 at thelyc.com/nicecatch.

These kind kids are nominated by teachers, family, friends and peers for their desire to make the world a better place and love of their communities and are hand selected by a team at Northeast Credit Union. Each winner has the opportunity to attend a game in 2021 with family & friends, receive special gifts at their doorstep, and a personal shout out from the baseball team of their choice.

Our Kindness Committee at the Credit Union has been overwhelmed and inspired with the countless number of nominations which included many extraordinary stories of children showing compassion and kindness. Though selecting the finalists has been incredibly difficult and will continue to be with our 2nd and 3rd round winners, we truly believe all of those who were recognized by their nominee have hit kindness out of the park!

We are excited to share our June Nice Catch winners!
