Portsmouth, N.H. – Twenty-five extraordinary student members have been selected as recipients of Northeast Credit Union 2018 Scholarship Awards. Scholarships were given to student-members in New Hampshire, York County and Southern Maine regions, who display exceptional leadership among their peers, and demonstrate a commitment to academics and to their communities.

“Our student-members are the backbone of Northeast Credit Union and there’s no better feeling than supporting them in their goals. It is heartening each year to see the wide array of talented and deserving young people who apply, though it makes it a tremendous challenge for us to narrow down our recipients from a pool of such outstanding young members ,” said Northeast Credit Union President and CEO Timothy J. Collia. “We are a connected community that is eager to award these scholarships to help those within the NECU family grow and flourish.”
