We're Making Improvements to our Online Services

Recent web and mobile upgrades.

We're always upgrading our online technologies in an effort to stay up-to-date on current advances. The past few months have been no exception. Here are our most recent online updates:

Improved Security with Online Banking

As part of our continued effort to provide Northeast Credit Union members with the highest quality services and products, we implemented a new password security feature within Online Banking.

Previously, we offered the option for users to complete a password reset question, however, they needed to navigate to the options tab on the main menu within Online Banking (pictured below).


Not all members have completed this security measure, which is in place to help secure members accounts. This is a common practice for authenticating online accounts, intended to prevent identity theft and social engineering attacks.

To address this, we introduced a new automated prompt. The prompt will ask for your password reset question and answer (pictured below).


We encourage you to login to Online Banking today and fill out the password reset fields. If you chose to wait, please take a moment to complete the form above when prompted within Online Banking.

ScoreCard Rewards are now available within Online Banking

Good news! As an NECU Visa credit card holder, you can now view your ScoreCard Reward points within Online Banking. Next time you login, you will see a new tab at the top called "ScoreCard Rewards"; simply select it and you will be brought directly to the ScoreCard Rewards website. No more remembering different passwords for the different sites, just one password and easy access to your points and rewards.

Shop On-The-Go with Apple Pay™

Paying in stores or within apps has never been easier or safer. Gone are the days of searching for your wallet, the wasted moments finding the right card. Now you can use your NECU credit or debit cards, with just a touch.

Apple Pay is simple to use and works with the cards you already have on the devices you use every day. And because your card details are never shared when you use Apple Pay — in fact, they aren't stored on your device at all — using Apple Pay on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or iPad is the safer and more private way to pay.

Coming soon: We didn't forget about our members with Android and Samsung devices! We're in the process of working with both providers to offer mobile wallet services. Stay tuned!

Two Mobile Banking Upgrades: Fly-out Menu and Person to Person Payments

We're adding new features that you've told us are important to you!

In September we upgraded our mobile app to include a 'fly-out menu' – you can access this at any time by swiping inward from the left edge of your device or by selecting the three-bar icon at the top of your screen.

In February we added person to person (P2P) payments within our mobile app. This means that you can send money directly to anyone on your contact list, without leaving the mobile app.

With these new features, we're making it easier for you to manage your finances from your mobile device, anytime, anywhere. It's quick, it's easy and it's secure! Download our app today.
