Misplaced Your Debit or Credit Card?

Learn what to do if this happens to you.

If you’ve misplaced or lost your Debit, Credit Card or checks, don’t worry. Here’s what to do if this happens.

• Immediately report a lost or stolen card at 888-436-1847 and select option #3 or through Online Banking under ‘Services’, ‘Lost, Stolen Card’ or stop by a local branch

• Contact all other financial institutions to report lost cards or checks

• Place a freeze with all credit reporting agencies

o Equifax
o Experian
o TransUnion

• Apply for a duplicate driver’s license through your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles

• If your missing your passport, contact the U.S. Department of State

• Reach out to your auto, medical or other insurance companies and ask them how you can replace policy number

Notify us if you will be traveling and using your Debit or Credit Card to avoid service interruptions

• To report Fraud on your Debit or Credit Card call 888-436-1847 or send us a secure message through Online Banking under ‘Message Center’.

Block a lost or stolen card using our Cardvalet® app or by calling 888-436-1847 and select option #3 or through Online Banking under ‘Services’, ‘Lost, Stolen Card’.

Northeast Credit Union will never call, email or send a text message and ask you for your account numbers, PIN or other personal information.
