Sean McNair Appointed to Newly Created Chief Experience Officer Role

Northeast Credit Union has recently made an addition to its executive leadership team with the appointment of Sean McNair as the Senior Vice President, Chief Member Experience and Digital Officer (CXO). As CXO, McNair oversees the credit union’s digital strategy including digital banking and works to further develop the digital roadmap to enhance the member experience across all touchpoints.

McNair comes to Northeast Credit Union from Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU), whe

re in addition to serving as Vice President of Marketing and Digital Experience he led the credit union’s digital group, focused on marketing technology, digital platforms and online and mobile banking. His background also extends to marketing and digital strategy for 360PR+ and Weber Shandwick.

“The thing that drew me to Northeast was the leadership team’s emphasis on providing relevant, impactful, and member-focused products and services,” said McNair. “Northeast’s member-centric approach is not only what a new generation of consumers demand, but to me, epitomizes the very purpose of credit unions in comparison to for-profit institutions,” he concludes.

Outside of his impressive career achievements McNair is an avid hiker and outdoorsman and has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Mayflower Council Executive Board since 2014 where he served as Vice President of Marketing from 2015 through 2018.
