Northeast Credit Union Teams Up with Members to Support Honor Flight New England

Once again, our teams have committed to raising funds in support of Honor Flight New England and new this year, Honor Fight Maine, organizations dedicated to honoring veterans by funding and accommodating trips to Washington D.C. Honor Flight provides veterans the opportunity to visit the war memorials, constructed in their honor at no cost to them.

Throughout the month of November, our branches sold Honor Flight stars, dividing the proceeds by state association. In total, the branches’ star sales raised $930. In addition to these sales, Northeast Credit Union also will make a $5,000 donation to each chapter, coming to a grand total of $10,930.

“Supporting our courageous servicemen and women for their commitment to our country is a true honor,” states Chris Parker, President and CEO of Northeast Credit Union. “Providing them with these incredibly special trips to pay tribute and respect for their sacrifice is an honor for all of us at Northeast.”
