If you have accounts with both OCFCU and NECU, you can maintain those accounts separately, or request they be combined after August 1, 2017.
Your Kasasa /Choice Checking Account will transfer as an NECU account, the name will not change. Since the Kasasa rewards program is currently administered by a third party vendor, it will be retained until the current contract expires on December 31, 2018 (See the Kasasa qualification cycle dates here). At that time, Kasasa accounts will be transitioned to a similar rewards program at NECU. Any changes will be communicated well in advance of that date.
You may continue to use your existing OCFCU checks until you run out, or, wish to purchase NECU checks. If you would like to order new checks, and/or reorder from NECU, the routing number will be automatically changed to reflect NECU’s routing and transit number, so there are no changes that you need to make. There are a variety of styles and options that you can choose from when reordering checks from NECU. The cost of new checks varies based on the style and options you choose.
How to order new checks - Members must call NECU's check vendor, Harland Clarke at the number below that corresponds with the account they want to order checks for.
