Contact Center Hours Changing

Starting Monday July 20th our Contact Center Hours will be changing.

Branch Lobbies Are Open

Today our branch lobbies will be open for teller transactions. We are excited for this next phase of reopening and are looking forward to seeing your friendly faces!

Appointments with Member Services Representatives will continue to be scheduled in advance. You can easily set-up your appointment online by visiting

What to expect when entering our lobbies:

  • Masks will be required for visitors and staff in the branch.

  • We may ask you to temporarily remove your face mask for security and identification purposes.

  • There will be a limited number of visitors inside the lobbies at a given time. This will ensure we can keep safe social distancing.

  • We ask all our visitors to respect the social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC; we have installed floor-markers for easy reference.

  • Routine cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted throughout the day.

  • Our member facing areas have all been equipped with plexiglass barriers.

As a reminder, our remote services – Online and Mobile Banking, ATMs, Night Deposit Boxes and Drive-Up services will continue to be a great banking alternative, and we encourage you to use these services as much as possible. All Branches Opening July 6th for Teller Transactions

We are pleased to announce that on Monday, July 6th all Northeast Credit Union Branch Locations will be open for Teller Transactions.

Our Drive-ups will remain open and members are strongly encouraged to continue using convenient digital services as an alternative to visiting a branch. Please visit to understand the many ways you can handle your financial needs safely and conveniently.

To ensure the safety of members and staff, below is a list of items to expect once lobbies re-open for Teller Transactions:

  • Masks will be required for visitors and staff in the branch. We may ask you to temporarily remove your face mask for security and identification purposes.

  • Social distancing in the teller lines, lobby areas and offices will be required.

  • We will limit the number of people inside at any given time.

  • Routine cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted throughout the day.

  • Increased access to hand sanitizer.

  • Teller stations, Member Service desks and offices will be equipped with germ shields/Plexiglas barriers.

  • Shareable items such as pens will be removed. If a pen is needed, members will be directed to keep the pen after use.

Important IRA Information

Due to the provisions of The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) passed into law on March 27th, 2020 those with traditional IRA’s over the age of 72 (born after July 1, 1949) years of age are not required to take their required minimum distributions (RMD’s) for 2020. Important update regarding the federal Paycheck Protection Program

Please be aware that as of Thursday, April 16, the federal funds supporting the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) have been exhausted. Northeast Credit Union has placed a hold on any applications that were currently in progress prior to Thursday, April 16. We want you to know that, should the PPP be replenished with additional federal funds, our team is prepared to immediately continue the process of these applications.

We know that you and your business were relying on this relief to help you navigate this exceedingly difficult time, and we understand this news is frustrating. Our lending team is closely monitoring this situation, and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible with additional updates.

Dover Branch Temporarily Closed

Northeast Credit Union was informed on Monday, April 6, 2020 that an employee at our Dover branch has tested positive for Covid-19.

Upon receiving this information, we immediately closed our Dover Branch Location, in an abundance of caution for our members, staff, and our communities.

We are following Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and have deep-cleaned the branch. No other known cases have been reported by branch staff or other members at this time.

We will notify members when we decide to reopen the branch at a later date.

In an effort to exercise extreme caution for our members, staff and those most at-risk within our communities, we have made the decision to close the lobby of each one of our branch locations beginning Wednesday, March 18th until further notice; branch drive-ups will still be open and accessible to you. We must do our part to promote social-distancing to the best of our abilities as recommended by both the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).
We encourage you to utilize the following options to keep your banking relationship with us running as smoothly as possible during these uncharted times for all of us.

  • We have removed branch coffee & watering stations.
